The fifth revised version of NIELIT syllabus came into effect in July 2020 examinations. There have been many advancements in Information Technology and consequent changes in needs of the industry in respect of which the syllabus was required to be updated. This document presents the fifth revised version of NIELIT syllabus which becomes effective for teaching with immediate effect. This ‘A’ Level syllabus is designed to facilitate students in the development of concept based approach for problem solving using IT as a tool. The self learning approach is built into the syllabus, thereby training the candidates to update themselves on the changing technologies in their area of work. The 'A' Level syllabus has been designed to produce Programmers, Web Administrators, Training faculty, Web Content Developers and trouble shooters etc., equipped with latest knowledge and skills.
